BIANCA PHOS

Unfinished (earth:sky)

Activity Day February 1, 2022

Time: 07:24 – 21:30
Materials: Mirrors, steel, steel cables, climbing ropes

Carefully laid out on the ground, thousands of mirrors are grouped into circular formations when viewed from above. Cutting Instrument, a system of regularly arranged steel segments, slices into the earth with blade-like discs. Both materials reflect space and time. The reflection of the sky on the ground visually dissolves the seemingly clear separation between above and below, resulting in a spatial entanglement.
